Each of our individual pieces of lignum vitae is carefully selected by hand and only the "best piece" is used for our marvellous jo stick made of lignum vitae. Lignum vitae or pockwood is one of the hardest, heaviest and densest types of wood in the world and is often used in shipbuilding.
