Bo-Stick
The Bo-Fighting-Stick or long stick is a training weapon that dies in various schools of Koryū, but is also used in various karate styles. The fighting stick came to Japan via the Shaolin monks and was known as Bo after some heard there. Above all, farmers and travelers, who forbidden to wage war with a weapon, use it effectively. With the actual lost “walking stick” they had an effective weapon that they skillfully use in combat sequences. The Bo was owned by soldiers in battle was used to protect themselves against opponents.
