Obi belt - budo belts for gi and kimono

We have Budo belts for all classical martial arts in our assortment, be it Ju Jutsu, Aikido, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo and many more. With the Japanese technical term Obi are not only the simple and durable belts of various martial arts disciplines, which are usually between 4 cm and 9 cm wide, but also richly decorated and much wider belts, for example, made of silk brocade, which were and are traditionally worn to the festive kimono. 

Especially for those martial arts that are performed with sword (Iaito, Katana) and scabbard (Saya) in the belt, such as Iaido or for initiatic sword work, we have particularly wide traditional Obi in the offer, from more robust models made of 100% cotton to deluxe variants made of silk, which we import directly from Kyoto. Our popular Budo Line Obi are made in our own tailor's workshop, they ensure a secure hold of the saya and let you feel your hara / ki center well.
