We still have a small contingent of these Tendo-Ryu-Naginata made from Japanese oak in our Bokken-Shop.
Tendō-ryū naginatajutsu is a classic martial arts school from Japan. It was founded in Japan in 1582 by Saito Hangan Denkibo Katsuhide and is now based in Kyoto. The martial arts school is currently run by the 16th Soke Mitamura Takeko. The Tendo-Ryu deals with the handling of the Japanese lance (Naginata).
