One of the oldest schools of Bujinkan is the Tagakure Ryū. According to tradition, Daisuke Nishina founded this war school in 1165. We deliver our Ninja-To Bokken made of ash wood including a plastic tsuba/dome.
Daisuke Nishina served under Minamoto Yoshinaka. The latter was killed and that forced Daisuke to flee to the mountains of Iga. He shared his knowledge of martial arts with the Ninja clans there, gaining insight into the secret fighting school of Iga ninjutsu. To honor both his identity and his birthplace, he changed his name to Daisuke Togankure. The secrets were passed down by famous ninja for over 900 years until they landed with Hatsumi Massaki (34th Sōke) in 2020. He holds the Soke title: Takumi Tsutsui.
