This naginata made of Peacock Wood is available exclusively only at the Bokken Shop and only in limited quantities. By a lucky coincidence we were able to secure a small quantity of long weapons made of this extremely rare wood - it is about 100 years old!
Peacock Wood is mainly used for high-priced fine veneer work and is very rarely available in the trade. The darker the beautiful, robust wood is, the older it is. Our Naginata was made by hand from one piece. It is warm and very comfortable in the hand, features a unique grain and is suitable for contact work.
