For your martial arts e.g. Katori Shinto Ryu we have this Naginata made of local brown or olive ash wood. Naginata is 220 cm long, the blade is a little stronger and wider. Our ash wood is a good alternative to Japanese white oak. The ash is very robust, abrasion-resistant, hard, break-proof and elastic. Bow and arrow or hammer and ax handles are made from it.
