We love our European types of wood and have made a handcrafted jo staff from local beech wood for your martial arts. Beech is a load-bearing, heavy and hard wood and one of the most important deciduous tree species in Germany.
The beech is part of the 12-part tree circle horoscope of the Celts. The energy of the beech tree can help to break away from overly cramped thinking in order to arrive in the here and now - in the present. Confidence, imperturbability, perseverance, resilience and an irrepressible will to live are among the outstanding properties of beech.
