Our Japanese Tozando Iaito Blade is 2.70 shaku in length. We equipped them with a heavy blade. In honor of Musashi, we have equipped the Iaito with his well-known "Musashi-Tsuba". The engraving plate with the two negative circles (Sukashi) depicts two sea cucumbers (Japanese Namako). Musashi's works as artists and craftsmen are revered in Japan and valued as great masterpieces.
Menuki and Kashira branch plum blossoms. The cotton tsuka and the polyester sageo are black. The overall picture is rounded off by the black lacquered saya in the Kuroro style. The Suguha Hamon creates a beautifully straight line down the length of the blade. The blade consists of a sand-cast and bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy.
