The
Daishō sword pair "ZAZA" by John Lee is made entirely in the sign of bamboo. Due to its straight growth and its fresh, green color, it stands for growth and purity. In Japanese culture, it is also considered a symbol of good luck. The symbolism of bamboo is found not only in the zirats (tsuba, fuchi, menuki, kashira), but also in the cutting edge. Bamboo leaves are incorporated on the saya.
The Daisho set consists of the John Lee Zaza Iatio Katana and the John Lee Zaza Iatio Wakizashi.
