The unique
Daishō sword pair "Ten-Kei" by John Lee is truly a "gift from heaven" and a symbol of the beauty of nature and our planet. The sword set reflects the gifts of nature in the handcrafted fittings finished in gold & silver. We find the fine floral motifs, both on the tsuba and in the other decorative installments, throughout.
The Daisho set consists of the John Lee Ten-Kei Katana and the John Lee Ten-Kei Wakizashi. The set has been extra blunt ground.
Features:
- Shinogi-Zukuri style blade with gouge.
- Blunt blade in Kobuse style.
- Handle winding of black silk in Katate-Maki style (war winding). underlaid with ray skin.
- Black high gloss lacquered scabbard (Kuroro style) with finials (Kojiri, Kurigata, Koiguchi) made of buffalo horn.
- Blade ferrule (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) are made of brass.
- With long tang, which is fixed in the handle with 2 bamboo pins (mekugi). The sword is therefore fully dismountable.
- All ornamental rates (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are handmade of metal and give each sword its personal touch.
- Delivery is in an attractive wooden collector's box, including a high gloss lacquered stand lined with velvet.
- Each original John Lee sword comes with a seal and a certificate.
