For your martial arts we offer you a Bokken in the Itto-Ryu form made of light Narra wood . The Narra tree is known for its robustness and resilience. The center of gravity is about 15 cm from the end of the handle - which means good balance. The wood feels warm and comfortable in the hand.
Narra is a medium-weight, medium-hard, tough and resilient wood and is used for light to heavy construction such as beams, rafters, posts, railway sleepers and in mining. Its grain ranges from light yellowish brown to reddish brown with darker irregular streaks. A lighter blade with good characteristics, well suited for contact exercises.
