A unique wakizashi made of 12-fold damascus steel. The model of this exceptionally beautiful tsuba was certainly made by a great master, probably in the 18th century. Unfortunately, since they did not sign their work, unlike the bladesmiths, the creators are not known by name. The tsuba, as well as the rest of the ornamental rates are elaborately designed with golden cherry blossoms (sakura), one of the most important symbols of Japanese culture. They stand for pure beauty, departure and transience.
