40 years of Bujinkan in Europe
In the Japanese martial art Ninjutsu, the oldest style, the Togakure Ryû, is 900 years old. In 1975, ninjutsu was introduced in Sweden by Bo F. Munthe and spread throughout Europe in the early 1980s, where it has now existed for 40 years.
In January 2015, the author celebrated his 40th anniversary with a major martial arts seminar in Stockholm. On the occasion of this celebration, all those present received the Swedish edition of this book as a souvenir. Now the title has also been published in German.

His first trip to Japan in 1976, his meeting and training with Sôke Hatsumi and the Shihanen who were active in the Bujinkan at the time.
The reader also learns something about the early masters of this martial art, whom Bo Munthe met during his numerous trips to Japan, the USA, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Greece.
The author also reports on the ninja boom in the 1980s. An era in which his person played an important role in Sweden. He doesn't spare his experience in the ninja film business.
