Our beech Tai Chi sword with a round handle is made of European wood. Some practitioners prefer a handle without an offset pommel, which feels like a hand flatterer along its entire length. The sword has a blade length of 85 cm.
Beech is one of the most important deciduous trees in Europe and produces a very hard and wear-resistant wood. Even for the Celts, the mighty tree radiated a calm presence and symbolised the indestructibility of nature.
