For the oldest traditional martial art - Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō Ryū - which was founded by lizasa Choisai Ienao (1387 - 1488), we developed a Bokken made of wenge in the Katori Shintō Ryū form. The Iizasa family still live about a thousand meters from the Katori Shrine today.
