Based on our experience in the martial arts, we have adapted our Jubon to these very special requirements. As a base for the Iaido-Gi, it is cut extra long so that it can be conveniently adjusted to fit under the GI. It consists of 100% cotton and is therefore very absorbent and comfortable to wear. It is traditionally worn under a kimono - to avoid direct skin contact.
In martial arts such as Aikido, Iaido, Kyudo and Kenjutsu, it is often worn under the jacket. We have received very good feedback from warriors - who, contrary to traditional clothing, like to exchange our Jubon with the Hadagi.
