One of the most impressive samurai in Japanese history is
Miyamoto Musashi. As one of the
best swordsmen in Japan, he was both an
artist and a
craftsman.
He not only developed his own fighting style "
Niten Ichiryu" but also made unforgettable
tsuba in his own art school. The most famous of these is made up of
two oval tsuba. The
John Lee Ichi Katana was made according to
museum templates and impresses with the simplicity of the tsuba with the
traditional double rings.
