We have developed this heavy suburi (suburito) bokken made of ebony especially for your solo suburi training and building muscles and tendons. Just like in the times of the samurai, you can develop and refine the grip of the sword (Tenouchi), the angle when cutting (Hasuji) and stopping the sword after the cut (Tomei). Ebony, also known as ironwood or kamagong, varies in its grain and color depending on the tree used. Due to the naturalness of ebony, there may be differences in weight between the individual pieces.
