The Tantō is a straight or slightly curved, single-edged Japanese combat knife. The samurai always wore their tanto tucked away in their obi, ready to hand.
For your martial arts, we have some tanto made from very different types of wood in our range. Often the tanto rounds off our martial arts sets, consisting of bokken, shoto, tanto or bokken, jo, tanto.
