Each of our individual pieces of Lignum Vitae is handpicked and we only use the "best piece" for our Bokken made of Lignum Vitae in the standard form.

Lignum Vitae or pockwood is one of the hardest, heaviest and densest types of wood in the world and is often used in shipbuilding. Because of its hardness, the processing for my carpenters is time-consuming and laborious. They are wonderful “unique pieces” left in their natural state and with little resin.
