We were looking for a worthy place for our own katana and, together with our master carpenter, developed a solid samurai sword stand for a katana made of beech wood. The beech belongs to the 12-part tree circle horoscope of the Celts. The special characteristics of the beech include confidence, imperturbability, perseverance, resilience and an irrepressible will to live.
The heavy stand was made from a piece of beech. We milled off the edges and partially rounded them off. The shape of a "ship" has been chosen deliberately - so your katana lies in the safe "harbor".
On our sword stand you can also give your wakizashi, bokken, jo or tai chi sword a space to show yourself peacefully.
A tip: when you receive your guests in peace, the handle of the katana is on the left.
