This beautiful John Lee Tsuru Katana is new in our shop. The first time we practiced the kata we noticed the good balance. With a weight of approx. 1000 g, it lies balanced in the hand. The zirate and especially the wonderfully worked tsuba - which has the crane as a symbol - round off the overall picture very positively.
In Japan, the crane is a symbol of luck and longevity. According to old Japanese legend, those who fold 1000 origami cranes are granted a wish by the gods.
- Shinogi-Zukuri-style blade with fillet (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from 1045 carbon steel.
- The blunted blade with an integrated Hamon line for a particularly authentic look.
- Handle wrapping made of brown cotton in the classic Hineri-Maki style.
- Black, high-gloss lacquered sheath (Kuroro style) made of wood.
- With a long rod, which is fixed in the handle with 2 bamboo pins (Mekugi).
- The sword can therefore be fully dismantled.
- No plastic is used, only high-quality, authentic materials are used.
Please note: The John Lee Tsuru Katana is
extra blunted.
