A real alternative to Japanese white oak or tropical hardwoods is our Jo stick octagonal made of robinia. An octagonal jo is easier to hold and stronger than a round jo. Robinia is one of the most valuable woods. The hard, smooth, flexible and dimensionally stable wood of the robinia is the most weather-resistant wood in Europe.
