We keep receiving inquiries for a Jo-Stick made from our domestic / European oak. We are happy to offer you a standard form of a Jo-Stick made from European oak. The Jo-Stick is well suited for soft and medium contact and for practicing the form. The oak is a heartwood tree and is very resilient and hard.
In many ancient cultures, the oak was a sacred tree, a tree of life, a judgment tree, a wise father tree, and the queen of trees. The oak still stands today as a symbol for steadfastness, honesty, continuity, firmness, loyalty and wisdom.
