We are very proud to be able to offer you one of the best samurai swords - next to a real Nihonto. The Citadel Ronin Katana is completely handcrafted. Only masters in their field work in a team. Each Citadel Katana is unique, so weight and dimensions may vary. The handle of the Citadel Katana is lined with high-quality ray skin. The handle is wrapped in the Hineri Mak style from Japanese silk. Kashira & Fuchi are made of iron and coated with a noble, black high-gloss lacquer. The hand-made tsuba is also made of iron. The menuki made of silver-plated bronze round off the overall picture simply and finely.
The matt lacquered Saya was made of high quality Jakwood in the Kuroishime style. Jakwood belongs to the mulberry family. The razor-sharp blades are made from 1075 carbon steel. These are hardened differently to approx. 60 HRC on the cutting edge and approx. 40 HRC on the back of the blade under traditional clay. The masterful work of the blacksmith comes into its own through the skills of the foreman. A mirror-polished surface and a clearly recognizable hardness line (Hamon) are the result.
Each sword has a production certificate, a high-quality sword cover and a padded Cordura bag for transport.
