Our Bo-Stick made of Supa wood is very suitable for contact and practicing the forms. The grain ranges from cream to reddish-brown. The Bo-Stick is well balanced. Our Bo-Stick is popular in various Budo styles such as Bujinkan, Bo-Jutsu, Aikido, Jodo, Ryukyu Kobudō and other martial arts.
The wood has many uses in the interior construction of buildings (beams, rafters, floors, in carpentry and furniture making and also in bridge building and boat building. Supa wood is highly valued for its durability and pleasant aroma. The Supa tree yields a special oil, which is highly appreciated especially in the treatment of skin diseases. The tree is also called "kerosene tree". From the oil of about 100 trees per hectare could be produced 10 liters of kerosene/year renewable.
